    I think the VC got confused. Extract from power.org's FAQ:

    > Q: What are the proposed objectives of Power.org?
    > A: Power.org's objectives are to develop open standards and
    > specifications, business guidelines documents, best practices and
    > education, certifications to validate implementations and drive
    > adoption of Power Architecture technology.

    It looks like it's just an open standards organisation, pushing the
    PowerPC architecture.
