Subject: [oc] Xilinx ISE on Linux installation Problems
Hi,

In case anyone else had problems installing Xilinx ISE 7.1 on Linux like I
did, here are some solutions.. I installed this on Slackware-current, but it
might apply for your case..

1) Problem: missing libXm.so.3
Solution: Install Openmotif..
2) Problem: something about an RPC error.. message pops up after several
minutes of inactivity..
Solution: Enable RPC
3) Problem: something about a tcp connection error:
Solution: Ensure that your hostname is defined correctly in /etc/hosts (mine
wasn't)

Hope this can help someone else try it out on other distros..
