Maybe you could explain the speed problem. Are you trying to run your scrambler serial or byte wide? You can take any scrambler and make it run several bits at a time(or more, I've seen 300+ bit wide scramblers in 40Gbps fiber chips).

Is this what you want to know? I can explain how to do it.
