This is all clearly nonsense. *The Trvth* (cue angelic choir) is that
VHDL is a highly abstract language focusing on logic which is used by
highly intelligent people. Verilog has all those explicitly hardware
related things like wire declarations that appeal only to those of
limited imagination. Amen.
Or maybe it's more of a "tomayto" "tomahto" kind of thing, and the
choice is determined by what the designer knows and his/her intended
audience.
