That's the job of the USB 2.0 hub, to sort out who gets what.

    Subject: [usb] USB2.0 Hub

    Hello all ,
there is a question about USB2.0, what happens if we ahd the following
    scenario :
    a.. USB2.0 Hub connected to USB2.0 Host
b.. two USB Devices connected to the Hub, 2.0 and a 1.1
c.. each one of them should work on it rated speed (i.e. 2.0 will work
at high speed and the 1.1 will be at Full speed)
d.. every 1ms the 1.1 should have a start of frame paket
e.. every 125us the 2.0 should have a start of frame (microframe)
    how does the USB deals with every 8 microframes ? ( 8*125us=1ms !! )
