I also appreciate Brian's offer. And I can confirm his grief about missing
feedback, e.g. with sending out a perl script to translate from Pads Power
PCB to Eagle.
Rudolf, did you have a look at the Cypress CY7C68013? It seems to be
available in small numbers for about 10$ and and relief the developper of a
lot of task. Still learning about USB...
