host will wait for 18 bit times before it starts a new transaction. this period is called timeout interval. just check 7.1.19(USB1.1 spec).

Hi all,
I need some inputs on the time between the host
sending an out transaction and waiting device's
ACK/NAK ( How many bit times teh host shd wait for
getting ack from the devices).
i already asked this question to our USB Group but 
i could find again from the archive.
