    Subject: [usb] host controller transceiver?
    Top

I have looked at the specifications of a number of discrete USB 2.0
transceivers and all seem to have the same problem: they support High
Speed (480 mbps) and Full Speed (12 mbps), but not Low Speed (1.5
mbps). That is exactly what is needed for a USB 2.0 peripheral device,
but I want to build a host controller and that has to support all three
    speeds.

Using an USB1.1 transceiver in parallel with the 2.0 one seems a bit
complicated. Perhaps the missing LS functionality could be implemented
    directly in the FPGA?
