This sounds like a class project Tomer. And it sound like you are trying to
    get
someone else to do your thinking for you. Taking a shortcut won't help you
in the long run. Thinking it out for your self will give you confidence and
    train
your mind in the thinking/problem solving process. I am willing to be a
    sounding
    board for you.

Why do you think USB is where to look?
What other ways can you attach a signal line to a PC for monitoring?
Does your signal source have a voltage range that is compatible with what
    you intend to attach to?
Can you only attach to the PC without opening the box?

After you answer these questions then formulate another method.
