Subject: [openrisc] Re: I can not start the linux on or1ksim
Hi Ye Jun,The bitmap attachments are far too big (nearly 1MB) to post to a mailing list. Could you try using the Linux "script" command to get a transcript of the entire session. There is little I can do with just the last 24 lines - I need to see the whole Or1ksim session.
I would take a guess that you have not patched Or1ksim 0.2.0, you are using it with xterm, and it is crashing on the known bug in xterm handling.
Please could you post: 1. Details of how you patched and built Or1ksim
2. The scripted output from a run of Or1ksim. To get the output in /tmp/or1ksim.log, use something like.
script /tmp/or1ksim.log or32-uclinux-sim -f sim.cfg vmlinux ctrl-D (this will terminate the script)
3. Your sim.cfg file
Thanks,
Jeremy
