    Subject: [openrisc] linux-2.6.23-libre3
    Top
    Hi All,
Due to a question in private email I have mildly tested the
    linux_2.6.23_or32_unified_simtested.bz2 patch against the linux-libre
    release available at:
    http://www.fsfla.org/svnwiki/selibre/linux-libre/download/releases/2.6.23-libre3/
And it seems to work just like the kernel.org version as expected.

The "libre" releases are scrubbed of firmware and other non-FSF
conformant code, since we don't rely on any of this as far as I know,
this should be a NOP for our patches.

However I did NOT run the patches thru the libre scripts (no time),
which AFAICR will only probably bomb on our included ramdisk...

    Enjoy,

    Rich d
