Subject: [openrisc] Updated GDB 6.8 for OpenRISC 1000
I have updated the port of GDB 6.8 for OpenRISC 1000. This update fixes
a number of bugs in the previous version, particularly in the handling
of small misaligned data.
This version supports hardware watchpoints if they are available. The
OpenRISC 1000 remote JTAG protocol is used more robustly, allowing
sessions to reconnect cleanly.
This work uncovered further bugs in the architectural simulator,
Or1ksim. A patch is available to fix these bugs in Or1ksim 0.2.0, which
should be applied ON TOP OF the standard patch.
All the code (as patch files) and documentation is currently available
on the Embecosm website (http://www.embecosm.com/download.html). It will
migrate to the main OpenRISC website shortly.
