Subject: [openrisc] What cable you are using for debugging or1200?
    Top
    Hi all,

I am a beginner of the or1200 processor, very glad to join the openrisc
    world.

I just want to ask a question about the cable for debugging or1200
processor. What kind of cable you are using right now for debugging
or1200? Is everyone using the Xilinx parallel cable III as the only option?
If so, can somebody give me a suggestion about where to find a usb2parallel
converter, since I guess most recent PCs have no parallel port at all.

Or, are the other cables from Xilinx such as usb cable or parallel IV also
supported by JP1? Has anyone tried to use cables from other vendors, or
maybe even a UART cable for debugging?

    Thanks for the help.

    Best regards,
    Li Xiang
