For what its worth, we are using a DP83861 PHY with the Ethernet MAC
from Opencores. But the specific type of PHY shouldn't matter unless
you have a need to modify the settings of the PHY. And most of the PHY
settings are quite standardized as well, so you will in all likelihood
not have any problems regardless of what Ethernet PHY you are using.
