Subject: [openrisc] or1ksim with target sim
    Top
Hi. I am new to the OR1200 and I have some questions.
Fisrt of all I have succesfully built the toolchain and performed a few rtl
simulations using Modelsim. However, since the registers in the register
file are not seperated, debugging is very difficult. So I would like to use
or1ksim to validate the correctness of my programs, but I do not have a
xilinx board available at the moment.
Can someone please post an example of how or1ksim should be used
with sim as its intended target (when no board is availble)? A simple
example demonstrating the execution of a program, insertion of
breakpoints, observing the registers and the data memory etc.

    Thanks
