Subject: [openrisc] jtag to an altera board
Does anyone here ever tried to use the GNU toolchain to jtag to an
altera board?
I finally managed to completely compile the whole tool chain without
any error. But now I can not jtag to the board. I followed the software
tutorial and in step IV JTAG connection, the ./jp1 -xilinx 9999 command
does not even exist when you try to run it in the jtag directory.
If you type ./jp1, the only option avaliable are rtl_sim, xess, xpc3 but
not xilinx option. So I really don't know how the tutorial managed to use
the -xilinx option.
Also with the or1ksim, how do you run that piece of software? I installed
it without errors, but can not find the command to run it. Already read
the readme file but still no luck.
