    In addition to what Alan replied, if you want to maintain code in the
    FSF binutils repository, you're going to have to get used to working in
    this repository - not just dropping huge updates on it from time to
    time.

    The target needs to be maintained here, or else other people have the
    choice between fixing it or breaking it.
