Subject: [openrisc] OR1200 compiler
Hi,With new versions of Linux distributions (Mandrake 10.1, Fedora 3 ..) there is a problem with the bison version. Apply the patch at www.opencores.org/forums.cgi/openrisc/2004/12/000990
,follow the instructions at http://www.asisi.co.uk/or1kecos.html
And it should compile without problems.
Best Regards

Hi,
I'm trying to use OR1200 processor, I already did simple tests mapping the risc onto an FPGA. I experimented easy program writing by hand the code (in binary format) now I need the compiler in order to write in assembler my code.
I tryied to set-up the tool chains but it was really a mess. I'm not a Linux/PC specialist but it seems my Linux installation miss many package.
In order to speed up my HW oriented tests I would like to know if some one could send me the executable of the OR1200 assembler compiler (may be it works also on my pC?) or a similar format (RPM?) that could avoid me the C compilation. I have a PC with Linux Mandrake 10.1 installed.
Thanks in advance for any kind of help suggestion.
