The "Boxer" was the name originally for a custom designed Amiga clone
motherboard developed by Mick Tinker, 1996 era.
(There is a whole story to this)

Later, Terrasoft used the name 'boxer' to describe their Teron-based PPC
    system, 2002 era.

It appears that Terrasoft was disappointed with the performance of the Teron
motherboards and trying to support this, while most of their customers were
    asking for
systems like Apple's G5 anyways. Terrasoft have an agreement
with Apple to sell installed Linux/MacOSX dual boot system.

Besides, with the new PowerPC and PCI Express chipsets being released (later
this year) and several companies coming along with an increased interest in
PowerPC (including Microsoft for their next XBOX), its going to be a great
year for new companies developing for PowerPC. Freescale is going to be a
    company to watch.
