Subject: [oc] Multi cored Graphics Processing Unit
Could someone tell me if it would be impossible to design a Graphics Processing
Unit chip design that implements a similar technology used in multi core central
processing units.
As far as i can tell the advances in semiconducter manufacturing technology made
in the CPU chips have found their way slowly to the GPU manufacture so with this in
mind i cannot see why a GPU chip cant be a multi core system like their CPU
equivalents.
