Try reading the Xilinx documentation or run the Project Manager...
That's assuming you have some knowledge of Verilog or VHDL to program
the FPGA. If not, I'll start by learning that as a start...

To program the FPGA, you'll need to connect it through JTAG and run
Xilinx iMPACT. It'll do most of the detective work for you...
The CD might come with some "bit" files that you can load directly...

This is my board :

It is fitted with XC3S1000 and this is the only thing which is different
than the standard one. I took ISE Webpack but i need something to get me
started with it and maybe with picoblaze.
Microblaze is too expensive for my budget right now and since this is only a
hobby for me i want to play with picoblaze.
I installed ISE Webpack (man it's HUGE ... !) and i just watch the whole
thing without any clue whatsoever what to do next :D I just need some simple
examples, some tutorial to start my quest.
