Subject: [oc] Spartan 3
Hi John, This is my board : http://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?Nav1=Products&Nav2=Programmable&Prod=S3BOARD It is fitted with XC3S1000 and this is the only thing which is different than the standard one. I took ISE Webpack but i need something to get me started with it and maybe with picoblaze. Microblaze is too expensive for my budget right now and since this is only a hobby for me i want to play with picoblaze. I installed ISE Webpack (man it's HUGE ... !) and i just watch the whole thing without any clue whatsoever what to do next :D I just need some simple examples, some tutorial to start my quest.
Thank you for your answer and understanding
LJ> It might help to specify a model number of the board, and try LJ> searching for that on google.
LJ> Check http://www.digilentinc.com/ site and see if they have any LJ> documentation for your board.
LJ> Get the ISE Webpack (free) from Xilinx.com.
LJ> Picoblaze will fit easily. That said, the pinouts of the board are LJ> fairly important, so you will need to locate the board's LJ> specifications somewhere... They might be built into EDK, but that's LJ> not free.
