Subject: [oc] AC-97 Controller, problems with variable sample rate
    Top
We are using AC-97 controller IP in an FPGA connected to a SoundMAX
codec AD1986. Using fixed sample rate of 48kHz an incoming audio signal
is sampled well. If we enable variable sampling rate in the AC-97
controller the result is still okay at 48kHz. But if we are going down
with sampling rate, e.g. to 41kHz, a few samples are given out
isocronously by the controller with wrong values. The slower the
sampling rate gets the more wrong values are given out. Who knows
    something about that problem?

    Regards
    Wolfram
