Subject: [oc] Seeking help on 5.1 Surround std.
HI,
I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but still..............
Can any one in the list kindly help me in getting some info on 5.1 Surround sound?
I am working on creating a "what-is-to-be-supported-in-hardware" sort of document for Surroundsound. The only material that I could get on the Web was Applying Aural Research: the aesthetics of 5.1 surround by Jim Barbour. Besides that document, I could not find any other helpful info. Amazon pointed me to a Book, "SurroundSound -Up and Running", but I need to get my claim clear before buying that book.
Hope I am clear in my question. If not, please let me know if I need to clarify any other point. If any one feels that this is not the right place to put this query, kindly let me know so that this may not be repeated in future and please point me to the right forum as well.
