Subject: [oc] MMC Core is the project dead?
The MMC card controller project is already long time at opencores, but
there are no files accessible and author has not replied to our emails
either. I wonder if there is any info if the project is going to be updated
or not.

there is (file downloads) simple C firmware that reads MMC card (in SPI
mode), it is currently working in Virtex2Pro, where the MMC card is
connected to Microblaze system. I was hoping to see the MMC project
at opencores to become public, but it seems it isnt happening, so
possible need to write it from scratch then. The C code is quite simple
(but real dirty rewrite of something I found on the web) - it can be used
by other FPGA processors as well to load it memory contents. I wrote it
mainly to create a bootloader for MicroBlaze uCLinux
