Subject: [oc] We need an OpenGl core!
A 3-D graphics accelerator would be fun, but methinks the hardware manufacturers have already selected their parts from established sources. I expect it would be a hard sell to get the computer makers to accept a brand new accelerator from an unknown developer, and the software support issue would remain unabated.
This request would probably get a stronger response in someplace like SourceForge.org, where they focus on software rather than hardware development.
