Unfortunately the only really effective way is to make the list moderated.
Everything else has been tried already.
So until the list is "free", lets exercise some common sense and lets not
send noise to the list. If everybody agrees to this simple guideline, we
should have better SNR ;-)
And please ignore all those desperate students that are doing their "final
project" and need a little bit too much help. These students would be
stopped only by moderated list and nothing else. ;-)
