I presume this statement was meant to read:
"This mailing list is for THOSE WHO ARE WORKING
ON OPEN OR FREE CORES who need partial assistance
and/or share expertise"?
The original statement could be taken to mean this
list is to support those who are working on
traditional, closed-source, designs.
